Salt Lake City, UT – This week, a group of journalists from the Middle East visited Utah as guests of the U.S. State Department and the Utah Council for Citizen Diplomacy. The group sponsors trips here every year. Over the past two years, KUER's Jenny Brundin has interviewed several of the journalists who are women. They talked to her about their stories and their dreams -- and about how they operate in societies that may be violent, or are not yet entirely open to the free exchange of ideas. Here are two of their stories.
