Monday, February 7: HB 25 - Direct Entry Midwife Act

Salt Lake City, UT – A bill before the legislature would make lay midwifery legal again in Utah. Proponents say it would legalize a viable birthing option for parents. Opponents argue it will make homebirths less safe. RadioWest looks at the history of midwifery in America, and talks to people on both sides of the debate.
