Salt Lake City, UT – On any given night on streets around Utah, more than 3,000 people have no home to go to. As many as 16,000 - or point 6 percent of the population - will experience homelessness in a year. Who are they? How did they get on the streets ? Their stories are varied and surprising. Over the next couple of weeks, KUER brings you an in-depth series that will take you into the lives of some of the state's homeless. But today, on the eve of the state's 5th annual Homeless Summit, Jenny Brundin introduces us to an ambitious approach to combating chronic homelessness.
