The National Parks play at Velour in Provo next Friday and Saturday

In Ways to the West: How Getting out of Our Cars is Reclaiming America’s Frontier(Utah State University Press), urban planner Tim Sullivan crisscrosses the American West, testing the idea that car-based development has disconnected us from each other.  Betsy Burton says that Sullivan “combines the personal with the factual with the theoretical, turning what might have been a dry and technical account into a series of fascinating forays into the future of our cities.”

Experimental pop band On an On performs at Kilby Court on Tuesday, September 8th.

All-girl quintet La Luz takes the stage at Urban Lounge on Thursday, September 10th.

Then, get to know your inner wolf with The National Parks.  They play at Velour in Provo next Friday and Saturday nights.

1: “Icon Love” by On An On

2: “Call Me in the Day” by La Luz

3: “Monsters of the North” by The National Parks
