Bill Eroding Governor's Power on Hazardous Waste Moving Through Legislature

Salt Lake City, UT – A Senate committee advanced a bill yesterday that could diminish the governor's role in regulating hazardous waste sites in Utah. Meantime, the House passed a bill to suspend the driver's licenses of deadbeat parents, and a new plan was introduced to allow small businesses to buy into the health plan for state employees.
