7/23/09: Kilby Court & Drew Danburry

Provo Musician Drew Danburry
Provo Musician Drew Danburry

By Doug Fabrizio

Salt Lake City, UT – If you follow music in Salt Lake City at all, you know about Kilby Court. The all-ages venue is off the beaten path, but it has been a gathering place for local musicians and their fans as well as touring groups like Death Cab for Cutie and The Shins before they outgrew a place with room for only 200 people. Kilby Court is celebrating its 10th anniversary, so we're talking to the founder and the current owners. We'll also be joined by musician Drew Danburry - a veteran of the Kilby Court scene.

  • Kilby Court will celebrate its 10th anniversary with an evening of music by Palace of Buddies, Will Sartain, Drew Danburry, Continentals and Birthquake. That's tonight, Thursday, July 23. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. - and the concert starts at 7:00 p.m. For more information, click here or buy your tickets at 24tix.com, Slowtrain, Smithstix & Positively 4th Street Music.
