By Bill Allred
Salt Lake City, UT – Johns Hopkins sociologist Andrew Cherlin says there's upheaval in the American family. Compared to other countries - we marry more, divorce more and live with more short-term partners. His new book is a survey of the history and the state of marriage and Cherlin says that our conflicting models of personal freedom and traditional unions lie at the heart of the issue. Monday - he joins guest host Bill Allred to talk about "The Marriage-Go-Round."
