By Doug Fabrizio

Salt Lake City, UT – Thursday on RadioWest, we're talking about yoga and how it has been practiced throughout its 6,000 year history. A new piece of musical theater by SB Dance Company satirizes the way yoga has come to be practiced in American popular culture. This isn't a new criticism though. For centuries people have disputed the motives of practitioners. Doug is joined by choreographer Stephen Brown and religion scholar Stuart Sarbacker for a conversation about the history and purpose of yoga as a philosophy and a way of life.

Yoga: the Musical continues June 15th and 16th at 8:00 p.m. with a Sunday matinee, June 17th at 4:00 p.m. for tickets, call 355-ARTS or visit arttix.org
