4/3/07: Something in the Air

By Doug Fabrizio

Salt Lake City, UT – Where have you gone with your radio? For many of us, it's the first sound we hear in the morning and our companion throughout the day. Radio reaches more than just the individual though. Washington Post columnist Marc Fisher says that as radio blossomed in the 50s and 60s, it offered America a shared experience and became the "birthing room of the counterculture." Tuesday, Doug talks to Fisher, along with local radio experts, about the history - and the future - of the airwaves.
