Salt Lake City, UT – What would it take to make you truly happy? Love? Money? Success? If those are your answers, you may be looking in all the wrong places. Richard Davidson is among the world's leading brain researchers and he says that compassion and kindness and yes, happiness are all skills that can be enhanced with practice. Davidson is in Utah and he joins Doug to explain what the Dalai Lama's brain can teach us about being happy.
Wednesday, February 4 at 7:00 p.m., Dr. Richard Davidson will present the 2009 Tanner Lecture on Human Values. The free event is presented by the University of Utah's Tanner Humanities Center, and will be at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts at the University. Thursday morning at 9:00 a.m., there will be a panel discussion on the lecture. For details on both of these events, click here or call (801) 581-7989.
