By Doug Fabrizio

Salt Lake City, UT – The scholar Susan Jacoby says there is a "vast kingdom of junk thought" that has contributed to American ignorance and anti-intellectualism. It's not just the advent of the internet and other trappings of modern popular culture that has led to this decline. Jacoby argues that the trend has been going on for the past four decades. Susan Jacoby joined us to talk about "The Age of American Unreason" and the threat it poses to the future of American democracy. (Rebroadcast)
