By Doug Fabrizio

Salt Lake City, UT – Sergio Vieira de Mello's career was spent in places like Cambodia, Rwanda and Kosovo. In 2003, he served as Chief of the U.N. Mission to Iraq. Vieira de Mello also died there when rescuers were unable to free him from the rubble of a suicide bomb. Journalist Samantha Power chronicled his work in the biography Chasing the Flame, and her book is the basis for a new documentary in the 2009 Sundance Film Festival. Power joins us to talk about Vieira de Mello and about the challenges of humanitarian efforts around the world.

Sergio will screen at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City today at Noon and Friday afternoon at 2:30. For details and ticket information, click here.
