Orville Schell is the Dean of Journalism at the University of California at Berkley, he is the author of 14 books, he known as an observer of China, and a journalist for the New Yorker, he has been a ship hand, a war correspondent, a rancher who raised chemical free beef, a commentator for ABC, NBC and CBS, and made documentaries for Frontline and 60 Minutes.
Today (February 26th), he will deliver his first free public lectures at Lindquist Hall in the Kimball Visual Arts Building, on the Weber State University at 3:00 pm. He will also be speaking Thursday, February 27, 11:30-12:45 pm, at Lindquist Hall at Weber State University. And finally he will host a panel on ethics in journalism, Friday February 28th, 10:00 - 11:30pm. KUER's Jenny Brundin will be a panelist.
