Salt Lake City, UT – State officials call it the "silent epidemic." They're talking about teen suicide. Utah's overall suicide rate is the 10th highest in the nation. It's become a public health crisis for mental health advocates and state leaders. The hope is to reach troubled youth before it's too late. In the first of a three-part series on teen suicide, KUER's Tasha Cook tells the story of a Utah family's struggle to cope:
