Salt Lake City, UT – Mike Lee pulled out a narrow victory over Tim Bridgewater in Tuesday's primary contest for the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate from Utah. The two men had previously defeated Utah's incumbent senator, Bob Bennett, at the state Republican convention.
On the Democratic side, incumbent Representative Jim Matheson had a much larger margin of victory over his challenger, retired school teacher Claudia Wright.
