Utah Legislature - Day 31

By Jenny Brundin

Salt Lake City, UT – Lawmakers in Utah's House of Representatives sent a message to Washington, passing two bills challenging the federal No Child Left Behind Act. They also took up a bill to ban smoking in private clubs and another to prevent cities from favoring companies that pay more than the minimum wage, along with a ban on gifts to state employees. But KUER's Jenny Brundin starts today's legislative report with a brief update on the state budget.
