Salt Lake City, UT – Words are all around us. Think about the last thing you read. Maybe it was the nutritional information on your cereal box, or a sign on the highway, or perhaps just an email at work. Reading is something that is second nature to most of us. However, there are some Utahns who have struggled for years with reading. Elena Gillis reports on illiteracy in Utah County and what steps some people are taking to improve their lives and the lives of others.
