Uranium Tailings to Leave Moab by Truck

Moab, UT – The U-S Department of Energy recently announced it will speed up the removal of uranium tailings near Moab using trucks instead of railroad cars. The D-O-E also downgraded its safety concerns over using heavy trucks to haul the radioactive tailings along Highway 191.
