U-S Geological Survey Scientist on Earthquake Activity

By Tasha Cook

Salt Lake City, UT – Next month marks the 40th anniversary of the University of Utah Seismograph Stations and the 100th anniversary of the great San Francisco earthquake of 1906. Mary Lou Zoback's lecture tonight at the Salt Lake City Library will highlight the disaster of the California quake, and what we, in Utah, can learn from earthquake science. In an interview, Zoback shares her research findings about the great Wasatch Fault with KUER's Tasha Cook.
