Salt Lake City, UT – Utah writer and poet Katharine Coles has just published her latest novel "Fire Season." Set in rural Utah, Coles portrays cancer-stricken downwinders, an AIDS suffering black-sheep of a Mormon family, drought and wildfires. It's a story of death and renewal, and ultimately, of the power of human goodness to prevail.

On Thursday, October 13 at 7:00 p.m., Katharine Coles will read and sign her lates book "Fire Season" at the King's English Bookshop, 1511 South 1500 East in Salt Lake City. For more information, call the store at 484-9100 or visit them on-line.
