Dr. Oliver Saks is a Professor of Neurology and aclaimed author. His work was the basis of the Rober DeNiro and Robin Williams film "Awakenings" and his articles have been published in the New Yorker and the New York Review of Books. Dr. Oliver Saks will be speaking this Saturday, September 6th at the Downtown Library Auditorium at 7pm as part of the Dewy Lecture Series. The film "Awakenings" will be screened at the library from 1-5pm.
