Galapagos Islands, Ecuador – A group of KUER listeners recently went on the station's "Citizens of the World" voyage to the Galapagos Islands -- an archipelago of volcanic islands 600 miles west of the cost of Ecuador. The islands are rich in endemic species, species found nowhere else in the world. KUER's Jenny Brundin recorded some of their sounds, and some thoughts from Ecuadorian naturalists about this special place.
