Salt Lake City, UT – A news conference on Utah's Capitol Hill yesterday showed that Democrats and Republicans can work together on issues -- even when it comes to Utah's environment. Also yesterday, lawmakers took up the issue of quotas for police officers who write traffic tickets. And legislators had a tense exchange with Utah Congressman Chris Cannon. But first, KUER's Jenny Brundin give us an update on the controversial measure to give families vouchers to send their children to private schools.
