Salt Lake City, UT – As a member of the Utah legislature, Judy Ann Buffmire heard often from Vicki Cottrell on issues involving the mentally ill. Vicki was a tireless advocate in her role as director of the Utah office of the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill. Following Vicki's death in a car accident last week, Judy Ann Buffmire remembers Vicki as a both a public leader on mental health issues and as neighbor and friend, and offers this tribute.
