Salt Lake City, UT – For many families, the kitchen is a place to grab a bite or whip up a quick meal for kids on the run. But for millions of new Americans, the kitchen is a place where cultural traditions are passed on. It's also a space for re-creation and re-invention.
In a five part series, producer Beth Hoffman joins immigrant women as they cook in their homes. In this morning's story, Hoffman visits the home of Lulu Olivera, an immigrant from the Phillipines.
