New President for Latter-day Saints

Salt Lake City, UT – Thomas S. Monson was ordained as the 16th president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Monday. Monson is 80 years old. He succeeds President Gordon B. Hinckley, who died on January 27th. The three members of the church's First Presidency spoke briefly and then took questions from the media. KUER's Jenny Brundin reports.
