Salt Lake City, UT – A new group aimed at protecting Utah wilderness unveiled its first project at the downtown Salt Lake City library yesterday. Women Protecting Wilderness is a network of women from all walks and ways of life who share a common love for Utah's wild lands. "The Wilderness Quilt" is designed to engage people in conversation about why Utah's wild landscapes matter and what can be done to protect them. KUER's Jenny Brundin attended the opening.
