Thermo, UT – The typical way of seeing an electric power plant is to generate power on a grand scale, with huge and expensive equipment. But a new plant in southern Utah is ready to start operations using a different concept - dozens of small generating units hooked together to use geothermal water that wouldn't be hot enough for a past generation of power plants.
