New Federal Spending Could Boost Geothermal Energy

Salt Lake City, UT – The riskiest part of geothermal energy development is proving that there's enough hot water underground to run a power plant. That's where researchers would like to see the new money made available from the federal government used as private industry scrambles to meet the demand for renewable energy.
