Salt Lake City, UT – As KUER remembers the decade of its founding, Doug Fabrizio talks to biographer Gerald Clarke about one of America's most controversial and colorful authors. Truman Capote's experiences in New York's high society circles contributed to his short novel, "Breakfast at Tiffany's." His quest for greatness, however, led him to develop a new genre, the non-fiction novel. The result of six years of research on the murder of 4 members of a Kansas farming family resulted in Capote's 1966 masterpiece, "In Cold Blood."
