David Halberstam is a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist and author. He has written for the Mississippi Daily Times, and the New York Times. He is the author of a number of books including, The Best and the Brightest, The Children, Playing for Keeps: Michael Jordan and the World he Made, The Fifties, Summer of '49, and Firehouse. Halberstam will be in Salt Lake City on Saturday, December 6th to give a Dewey Lecture at the Downtown Main Library.
