I've always gravitated towards the outskirts of electronica, the borderlands where genre begins to disintegrate and the results are often intriguing; the latest Metropolis mix from KCRW's Jason Bentley covers this—and some more traditional dance music territory—in style, with offerings from indie synth-pop maestro Toro Y Moi, Bloc Party frontman Kele Okereke's recent solo foray into deep house, and a cut from Burial's stellar Rival Dealer EP for Hyperdub, amongst a host of other tracks.
