Salt Lake City, UT – Almost as soon as the Salt Lake City Council gave its unanimous approval to a Domestic Partners Registry, State Senator Chris Buttars was making plans to invalidate it. His Senate Bill 267 was approved in committee on Monday.
And the Utah House passed a bill yesterday that would eliminate the driving privilege cards the state has issued to undocumented immigrants for the past two years, even though there's evidence the cards have achieved their stated purpose. KUER's Dan Bammes reports.
