KSL's Doug Wright Is Hanging Up His Headphones

Mar 29, 2018

Doug Wright, host of Utah's flagship radio talk show on KSL Newsradio, is ending his full-time radio career after nearly 40 years at the Mormon church-owned station.

Wright, with his signature baritone voice and moderate politics, has interviewed thousands of Utah news makers and everyday people on his program.

Wright will continue hosting "The Movie Show," using the well-known self-deprecating phrase "with prizes up to dollars,” on Fridays but will end the Doug Wright Show on June 1st, his 40-year-anniversary with the company.

Debbie Dujanovic and David Noriega are to take over the 9 am to noon time slot in phases over the next few months.

Doug Wright began his radio career at KUER on the University of Utah campus when his was 16 years old.
