Immigrant Tuition Issue Returns to Legislature

Salt Lake City, UT – There's a saying on Utah's Capitol Hill -- "Some bills never die." A bill that would prohibit undocumented students who've attended Utah high schools from paying in-state tuition at Utah's public colleges is back for a third try in the Utah House. Another bill tries to get at the issue of identity theft by asking employers to verify Social Security numbers. But first, lawmakers on Capitol Hill are moving along a bill that is a compromise with University of Utah officials on the controversial issue of guns on campus. KUER's Jenny Brundin reports.
