Conversation on Creativity with Doug Fabrizio and Jeffrey Hein, March 14th

Join KUER and the Utah Museum of Fine Arts, Williams Fine Art, and F. Weixler Co. for a live portrait demonstration and interview with Utah artist Jeffrey Hein and KUER’s Doug Fabrizio.

March 14th, 6:00pm at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts in the Dumke Auditorium.

You’re invited to participate in Fabrizio’s interview with Utah portrait artist Jeffrey Hein about the creative process and the world of art. During the interview, Hein will paint Fabrizio’s portrait, displayed on the big screen so that the entire audience can watch art emerge from sketch to brush stroke to human likeness. Guests are invited to come and go from the theater during the interview to enjoy hors d’oeuvres and conversation with fellow art lovers and the creatively curious.

Jeffrey Hein is a widely-collected renaissance-style artist whose work has been reviewed in "American Art Collector," "Fine Art Connoisseur," and "Arts and Antiques." As a staff member of the prestigious National Portrait Society of America, Hein is an articulate advocate for the creative process. His own studio school, Hein Academy of Art, is a practicing artists’ favorite, serving many amateur and professional artists in our community.

This event is free, but includes very limited seating. Please arrive early.
