Salt Lake City, UT – On Utah's Capitol Hill Wednesday, the Utah State Senate honored Utah's Latino heritage at the same time a House committee was voting to impose new burdens on undocumented students. The final bill of a package of legislation intended to secure the civil rights of gay couples was voted down in committee. And a key senator said he's willing to listen to a proposal that would boost state revenue by allowing the importation of radioactive waste into Utah from foreign countries.
