Budget Disappointments, Clean Air and Animal Torture at the Utah Legislature

Salt Lake City, UT – Transportation, education officials and others reacted with surprise and disappointment at budget priorities for spending released yesterday on Capitol Hill. There just isn't enough money to go around. Lawmakers also took up bills on a cigarette tax, school buses that pollute, undocumented immigrants, animal torture and the federal Real ID Act.
