Salt Lake City, UT – Utah's Poet Laureate is doing everything she can to take one of the world's most ancient art forms viral. Katherine Coles, a professor of English at the University of Utah, has launched the "Bite Size Poetry" project, a series of monthly odes that can be read in 60 seconds or less. Videos of poets reciting their works are posted online and emails of the poems have started popping up in inboxes of arts patrons across the state. Coles tells KUER's Jennifer Napier-Pearce that Utahns deserve a beautiful verse at least once a month.
