August 26: Young Friends of KUER Tree Planting

KUER is hosting our third event with the Young Friends of KUER: a group of young professionals, students and twenty- and thirtysomethings who are avid public radio listeners and wish to interact more with KUER.

Join us Saturday, August 26th 9:00am-1:00pm at Snowbird (entry 2) as we leave behind a trail of trees in TreeUtah’s Project Oxygen! Sponsored by Mark Miller Subaru, we will be helping plant 2,000 native tree seedlings along Snowbird’s mountainside! Breakfast, lunch, lift access and tools will be provided.

Registration is required to participate, and can be done at this link. When promted, make sure to state you are there for the Young Friends of KUER group.

If you wish to stay in the loop for all things Young Friends of KUER related, request to join our Facebook Group here.

Be Prepared with:

  • Sturdy closed toe hiking shoes or boots
  • Gardening or leather gloves
  • Clothing appropriate for conditions (we request long pants, warm layers and quick dry materials that can get dirty and take wear and tear)
  • Backpack to carry your refillable water bottle, snacks or other needed items
KUER is listener-supported public radio. Support this work by making a donation today.
