Salt Lake City, Utah – The Tour de France ended weeks ago, but professional cycling is still making news. Seven-time race winner Lance Armstrong is under federal investigation for doping by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Armstrong denies the allegations, but the British journalist Jeremy Whittle says there's been a sort of arms race in pro cycling, where teams use drugs to stay competitive and maintain sponsorships. Monday, Whittle joins Doug to talk about the culture of cycling and the state it's in today.
