By Doug Fabrizio

Salt Lake City, Utah – This week, the Deseret News laid off 85 newsroom employees and announced plans to share resources with KSL television. At the heart of the changes, explains their press release, is a commitment to the paper's "mission and values." Thursday, Doug sits down with CEO Clark Gilbert to talk about his vision for the Deseret News. Later in the program, we'll ask what these kinds of changes mean for a community.
