7/21/09: Let's Call the Whole Thing Off

By Doug Fabrizio

Salt Lake City, UT – Writer and NPR commentator Sandra Tsing Loh has declared marriage obsolete. In an essay for The Atlantic, Loh revealed an affair and the end of her 20 year marriage. Critics have said she's just bitter, but Loh argues that the institution is out of date - that it doesn't fit today's couples who co-parent, co-housekeep and each have a career. Tuesday, Sandra Tsing Loh joins Doug to talk about passion, expectations and her advice to avoid marriage altogether.

Sandra Tsing Loh's essay Let's Call the Whole Thing Off appears in the July/August 2009 issue of The Atlantic magazine.
