6/7/11: The Beekeeper's Lament

Salt Lake City, Utah – Tuesday, we're talking about half a billion honey bees, one man and the crucial role they play in our agricultural system. Journalist Hannah Nordhaus is our guest. She's written a book about John Miller, a 4th generation migratory beekeeper who spends most of the year on the road placing hives in orchards around the country. But the ranks of beekeepers are dwindling along with millions of bee colonies that have died over the past 5 years. Nordhaus joins us to discuss "The Beekeeper's Lament."
