Salt Lake City, Utah – In 1881, the journalist Emmeline Wells wrote that "the historians of the past have been neglectful of woman." Author Christy Karras tries to right the balance by telling the stories of Utah's foremothers in the new book, "More Than Petticoats: Remarkable Utah Women." On Friday, Karras joins guest host Jennifer Napier-Pearce to talk about the perseverance, unconventionality and pluck of Utah's founding mothers.
