Salt Lake City, UT – On Wednesday, Salt Lake County Mayor Peter Carroon announced his decision to deny Real Salt Lake's request for 35 million dollars in public financing to build a soccer stadium in Sandy. Franchise executives have argued that the funding is critical to the team's survival in Utah.
