2/7/08: Meeting Resistance and Skin in Flames

Salt Lake City, UT – Thursday there are two parts to the program, loosely connected by this theme: the unintended consequences that come when America tries to export its sensibilities to another culture. We'll talk about a powerful documentary that explores the resistance movement in Iraq. In the "them" and "us" of this war, the film is told from their perspective. Also we'll profile the latest production from the Salt Lake Acting Company. It's called "Skin in Flames." It's gripping, disturbing and hard to forget.

  • Tomorrow, Friday, February 8, the Salt Lake City Film Center will present a free screening of Meeting Resistance. The event begins at 7:00 p.m. For more information, call 746-7000 or click herre
  • Salt Lake Acting Company presents Skin in Flames through February 24, 2008. For details and tickets, call 801-363-7522 or click here
