Salt Lake City, UT – Journalism professor Philip Seib says that the battle for hearts and minds around the world isn't being fought on the streets, but rather by bloggers in cybercafes and on newscasts and talk shows of Al Jazeera. New media are being used as tools of conflict and instruments of peace and Seib argues it represents a fundamental reshaping of how the world works. Wednesday, he joins Doug to talk about his new book "The Al Jazeera Effect."
