Salt Lake City, Utah – When a friend accused writer and naturalist Terry Tempest Williams of being "married to sorrow," Williams said, "No, I just choose not to look away." Lately, she's been looking straight at the Gulf of Mexico and the impact of the BP oil disaster. Williams said she needed to see it for herself, so she traveled to talk to people and to witness what she calls "a very dark story." Thursday, she joins Doug to discuss an article she's written about her journey. It's called "The Gulf Between Us."
