Salt Lake City, UT – When Phil Donahue met Iraq war veteran Tomas Young at Walter Reed Hospital, he says he couldn't just pat the soldier on the head and say goodbye. Young was paralyzed from the chest down because of a bullet he caught on his very first mission in Iraq. Donahue had never made a documentary before, but he knew he wanted to tell Young's story. The result is "Body of War." Monday, we're airing our conversation with Phil Donahue - recorded over the weekend while he was in Utah. It's about the aftermath of war for soldiers and their families - and what it means for us as a country.
